Almost all operating systems on current mobile and stationary devices support passwordless authentication via FIDO2/WebAuthN: Face ID and Touch ID on iOS/macOS, Windows Hello or the counterpart on android devices. The FIDO2 security keys for passwordless authentication have also become very affordable.
